Behind the Curtain: A Closer look at The Regional Theatre of the Palouse
There’s magic happening in the heart of downtown Pullman. A place where imagination and creativity collide. Where stories come to life, and a community gathers to be entertained. The Regional Theatre of the Palouse is a cultural cornerstone that enriches the life of our town by providing professional caliber live theatre performances pooling both local and national talent. The intimate 75-seat boutique theatre showcases Broadway classics, revivals, premiers and award-winning shows and even offers a performing arts school shining a spotlight on the area’s youngest rising stars.
Recently we were invited for an intimate look behind the curtain as the RTOP cast and crew readied themselves for this Spring’s run of “An American in Paris”. Hear from Artistic Director, Michael Todd and Resident Choreographer, Andrew Felipe, as they share more about the many passionate hands involved in helping to make the theatre such an integral part of our community.

The theatre’s location allows for the perfect opportunity to have a night on the town. Dine at one of the several downtown restaurants surrounding the RTOP where there are savory options to satisfy every palette. After the show, head over to neighboring cocktail lounge Etsi Bravo and cap off your evening with one of their handcrafted cocktails. Enjoying Broadway-quality entertainment without the Broadway hustle and bustle is pretty hard to beat!
